I think this post worth the time it takes to read it and even the time to re-blog it because I believe it has value. I love the Jim Rohn quote... in fact I think I will print it out and hang it in our office for all to see... Thank you Jeff for another great post!

Good Monday morning to you!

Today’s word is Ignorance.

It’s amazes me when I look around in my business and find that people that are in my business take things at face value.

What if those around me read something wrong or were incorrectly taught?  They, then start regurgitating what they have been told, believing themselves to be right, when, they could just as easily looked up the information that they were looking for and then, perhaps, understood it there way.

Many will say “so and so taught me that.”  Sorry folks, it doesn’t mean that they are right about that specific thing.

In the end, it doesn’t take you long to find some of the things that you are looking for and want to learn on your own.

Don’t take everything at face value, do some due-diligence on your own.

If you don’t, you might wind up being perceived as ignorant.  And perception, in many cases, can be just as bad as perception.

Don’t be ignorant.  Find things out for yourself.

“Ignorance is not bliss.  It is poverty.  Ignorance is devastation.  Ignorance is tragedy.  And ignorance is illness.  It all stems from ignorance.”

Hi

Your post was a very good read and triggered my mind about a quote from the Bible which I thought was " the ignorant shall inherit the earth". Based upon your words, I looked it up and my memory was off a bit for as many of you already know, it is "the meek shall inherit the earth". Great advice for many of us and especially those of a few years. cheers cvc
