It's been a while since I blogged actively on Active rain so I kind of forgot that blog posts just occassionally disappear upon posting. I wrote a short blog yesterday, hit the submit button, confirmed that it was my content, was redirected to my profile as usual... And POOF! My blog post is gone, not posted, not in drafts... just gone. I will have to remember to copy my posts into Word/Writer before I submit from now on. Anyone else have this problem here occassionally?

That's annoying.  It's never happened to me before, but I have lost posts because I clicked back or something and didn't save to draft first.

I didn't hit the back button but it would probably help if I save to draft first... I sometimes wonder if it occassionally happens if I take too long to write a post... Like timing out or something. I will definitely remember to save drafts from now on too. Thanks!

Yeah, for sure. Luckily the one that I lost was a short one... but I thought a good one... Some of the best ones are short. Wrote an article about how to stomp out site spam. I know people that have litterally had their site killed by spam. There are a few easy and a few not so easy methods to stomp it out. I will rewrite it:) But yes, we definitely live and learn:) Thank You!

Jenny - It's random, doesn't happen often but I have had this experience a couple of times in my first year of blogging on AR. This was the first time that it happened since I've come back and it was almost like a flashback. I'm sure that it's not a common problem, but for me; I am going to make sure to save posts in a text editor before hitting submit. Hope it never happens to you! Thanks for the comment!!
