Property owners are looking at their property tax records and saying they are too high. These individuals are going right to the property appraiser site where their own their home or commerical buildingis  and push on their tax button.

After seeing the amount they owe, some individuals decided the tax was too high and just did not pay.The problem: A new tax law which has taken affect July 1, 2011 said the owner needed to pay their property taxes in order to dispute them. As a Broward county resident you can get to this site any day of the week. the site is filled with useful inofrmation.

Hopefully, people will know this law is here to stay.
