If I am about to step on your toes, I am not sorry.  What I am about to say directly impacts your performance.

When one real estate agent calls another agent that he or she does not personally know, it is for one reason and one reason alone:  one of them has a listed property, and the other has a client who is interested in it.  No matter what the agent says when she leaves voicemail, she might as well be saying this:

"Hi!  I'd like to give you some money!  Call me!!!"

Yet some agents don't return phone calls.  If you are one of them, you are throwing money away!  Some of you return calls weeks later.  I've got news for you: I've already found a dozen other properties for my client by that time. Maybe you didn't hear that it's a buyer's market currently?  That there's almost 20,000 single family homes listed in my market? That most markets have at least a 10 month supply of inventory?  How can you afford to let me and my client slip away without even talking to us?

I know sometimes people get busy, but if you are so busy you can't return phone calls, I'll gladly take some of your business.
