41 Comments on A Facebook "Share" or Facebook "Icon" - What's More Important?
The importance of utilizing social media for advertising and marketing purposes cannot be understated in this day and age. Great post on the importance of client convenience in the social media world. I’ve recently started using websites like delicious.com and squidoo.com as well to try and attract business. Unfortunately these platforms are still behind the ball in terms of implementing similar hotkeys like Facebook and Twitter. Thanks for the post! J
They are Eric, as well as G+ for hootsuite.. come on guys, get with it!! But it's vital to the ripple effect of your information.
Hi Tammy, I didn't know there was a workaround from the business page. I always got annoyed when I was asked to change back to the "personal" me, instead of the "business" me in order to do anything.
Tammy, I would think the SHARE would be invaluable as it puts the content somewhere else to reach more eyeballs. The links are fine too, I just don't think too many people click on them.
Thanks for the great info! I've pondered this for a while but have been neglectful of my websites and my blog. Today I've set aside time to add some content.
Well Sandy, the workaround is a hassle, but since we can have numerous pages attached to our account, it only makes sense to have one way to get there.
It is Gary! invaluable!
Just do it Kate!! You will be rewarded.
Tammy- you are always keeping us on our toes. I have the "follow me" buttons on the bottom of my blog and AR provides the "share buttons at the top, so do we need to add more?
Hi Tammy - Excellent information in this post. We've employed a new strategy where we take control of the users mouse and force them to like and share us across all social network platforms... Hope you have a great day!
Kathy, no we're fine here on AR. This is off-site
Adam,And how do you do that?
This is one of those things that I would never have thought about - but now that you've brought it up, it seems invaluable.
Tammy, this is a very thoughtful post and points to the importance of "share" over "icon" in a very practical way. Thanks!
Sharon
Tammy another great post about what we need to do! I have bookmarked for future implementation!
What a great post! I have not done this and I clearly see that I need to get on it...right now!
Good morning Tammy,
I came over from Anita's mention of your post in her Facebook Friday's Post. Excellent information and I have book marked!!
Great information. I have bookmarked so I can use this later. Thanks.
Great info. I've had the like button for a few months now and you're right, its so much easier for people to like or share something without going through an extra page.
Tammy, I am always learning something New in the Rain. I will make plans to use these Share and Like buttons more.
Thanks folks, I hope you are finding good spots to put these on your own websites or looking into widgets and plug ins. These can really help.
