As nice as Sea Cliff is to talk about, I’d like to focus special attention onto Sea Cliff’s, distinctive walking piece of art. She is known as Anna, Art in Motion!

Anna Jannett



Anna Jennett (as she say’s” I have 2 first names”) is the most colorful person I’ve ever had the pleasure to meet. Every day she dresses head to toe all color coordinated and accessorized, never forgetting her hat or walking stick and walks through the main streets of Sea Cliff, smiling and waving to all while maintaining her brisk walking pace. On holidays she coordinates her clothing like 4th of July, her outfit is Red, White and Blue, and with her fashion sense she sets the bar high for any other holiday dressers. Even Uncle Sam would find her to be a great match for his memorable outfit.




Anna Jannett, Art in MotionRecently, I’ve been asking her for her photo and she graciously poses. I asked if I could show her off on a blog, and she was delighted! She said she hopes to be on Dr. Oz one day and I hope by means of this blog we get her noticed enough to achieve her dream.


Wouldn’t she be a perfect candidate for the Dr. Oz show, her colorful personality and dedication to fitness?

WOW!!!, MY YOUNGER SPIRITUALLY -CONNECTED BROTHER, RICK, you always have a way with words when something truly moves you!!!  Now  I really know that I must look good and attractive (SMILES)!!!  That was so beautifully put, really making me feel extra special!!! Thank You for that - especially as wiped out as I feel!!!

I enjoyed our conversation this afternoon.  As you advised me, I am going to run to that bed after this blog. I just had to respond to such an outstanding praise of me!!!

RICK & ANNA, sorry to break up the party! LOL

I love reading the dialoge between the two of you, a family bond that cant be broken dispite all you both went through. I myself have been MIA dealing with family issues in need of my support, (today 5 out of 6 of us sisters gathered to help my sister going through a divorce, to pack anticipating her moving out). This same sister has delt with cancer and her house in dissaray because of it. Her kids all under 12 are struggling too, and we are all trying to show support. Its important to support family, as you both know.

Next week my daughter leaves for Italy to take a semester there. I'll continue being busy till then, but wont miss coming to this site to see what both of you have to say!

As a friend and recent aquaitence, I have to say I feel like I've know you both for years. It is your openess and honesty that makes you both so real and compells me to want to know more about you. In addition I wish you both, Health, Happiness, and financial success.

I'm running to bed too....tired this week!

My Dear Ellen, My Heart bleeds for you and your sister and the family!!!! - I am so very sorry for such overwhelming sorrow!!  What a beautiful, precious, extra-special blessing to have the family support for your darling sister!!!  I was anticipating hearing how busy you have been with hopes that all was well with you!  You all are in my thoughts and prayers!

And, ""Congratulations" to your daughter going to Italy!  Please give her my best wishes!

I am still juggling my out-of-control busy life and schedule as well as I can with such health limitations!!!  Thursday, I attended the most Beautiful, Deeply-Sprirted Wedding at Sandpipe Park, then, plans were suggested to me, again, to have the video recorder work on a project recording collections - such as the story behind my hat collection!!  Then, there is the "Pet Parade" Sunday, and of course, I have been asked to help with outfits for the pets!!!  Thank God, though, that the golf tournament was rescheduled for September instead of this Saturday before the Pet Parade!!!

Oh, I can't forget to describe my wedding attire from Thursday.  I wore a mid-length sky-blue dress with a slit up one leg, a matching scarf with electric-blue butterfies, matching jewelry, a wide-brim crochet blue hat with a glittery band and turquoise-blue shimmery flowers, blue matching shoes.

Ellen, so sorry to hear of your sister and her family's current situation.  We all have those horrific life altering changes that take us beyond our capacity, but  somehow with the help of the spirit inside and wonderful guardian angels in our family and friends and with time we seem to persevere and see it through. It is in these valleys of our lives that character is remodled, strengthened and molded, shaping us for a future purpose! Both Anna and I can attest to that! Soon it will all be over, things will be back to normal and everyone will embrace the comfort of knowing it was all for the best.  She will rebound and things will be better than ever! She and the children will overcome, the best feeling in the world!  I fully understand your concern and the hurt and possibly even frustration at not being able to fix it all.  It pains us to see our loved ones hurting.

What a pleasure its been getting to know you, Ellen!  Your Blog has allowed me to fully comprehend the joy and elation, the likes of which I  have never before witnessed, in my sister Miss Art In Motion!  Thank you and the Sea Cliff Community and environs!

Best of luck to your daughter, in her Italian studies; bound to be a positive life altering experience!

Anna, I'm not ignoring you....I'm still so busy, being pulled in many directions. Up at 6AM and not to bed till 12PM and still not enough hours in a day to do what has to be done. I multi-task! I drop my daughter for driving lessons at 8AM then walk in Sea Cliff for an hour before I have to pick her up. Been helping my daugter pack and doing logo designs for my neices school. Helping my husband with work, and my son with college prep needs. Then there's family, friends, work, all tugging on me.

Maybe Thurs or Fri. I can find you and we'll talk.

BTW, I bet you have something SPECTACULAR to wear for the 4th of July!!!

Rick, Boy that's hot!!! It's been hot here too, thank goodness for air conditioning (although I'd rather just have a constant 78 degree weather, perfect for exercise). Anna doesn't mind the heat...she walks regardless. I think its rubbing off on me, the other day I went walking/jogging at 3PM in the heat before getting ready for a wedding. I was so hot, I was still sweating AFTER I got out of the shower!! I managed to get ready and had a few drinks to cool me off.

Well this is summer, running around and trying to spend time with family. Glad you, Anna, and I can connect here as well. Stay cool, feel good, and continue living healthy like Anna who inspires us!

I know that it has been a busy Summer for mostly everyone, and I hope an enjoyable one at that!!  I am still blessed with the power of positive thinking from you all.  Last Saturday, 7-14-'12, I was on public display at an art exhibit. A professional photographer and his assistant took a beautiful photo of me on the beach at sunset amongst some of my handmade hats and scarves.  What a turnout that was!!! Requests for autographs are still coming my way, and overwhelming emotionally-charged praises how Dr. Oz needs to see all of the tremendous LOVE and positive energy radiating from me attracting so many people and honorary compliments and LOVE flowing back from them to me!!!!  Added to the comments is the fact that there is so much anger and hatred in the world today, but just look and feel what has been emerging out of my unique, creative, colorful walk - with that "SMILE" and "WAVE"!!!!  I am even more proud and feeling more blessed the more that I share these experiences and spread the LOVE!!! Now, every day I am called "Celebrity" and "Movie Star"!!! {SMILES}

In addition, I had my photo taken to be in a book called "Look at Something Beautiful Every Day" .  A very lovely poem was written about me in the book, of course, referring to my dedicated unique walk, with my outfits and matching accessories - showing everyone how it is supposed to be done, as she says! [smiles}.  So many people  joke about how I just put them to shame!!!

Friday, 7-20-'12, I had to go proofread the newsletter to be sent out on me from Glen Cove.  Even the newsletter starts out calling me a "Celebrity"!!

Both the book and the newsletter should be out around the same time - August/September.  That has been quite a bit of big, positive, uplifting news for one week!!!  There have also been other projects and activities because once I show up for one event, I am asked to be booked for three more!!  I am trying to limit and pace myself!!!  But, it is just so wonderful how people want to be around me!!!

                     DR. OZ, DO YOU SEE AND HEAR ALL OF THIS???!!!

I just had to share that with you all!!  And, I thank all of the reblogs, too!!!

What a very special, precious, sentimental moment this is for me right now - to hear from you and how your heart still reaches out to me as you always did back in our school days in Locust Valley!!!  To this very day I always THANK GOD for my school friends and my very fortunate experience attending the Locust Valley Schools.  NOW YOU KNOW WHY I WAS ALWAYS SO VERY SHY!!!!

THANK YOU BOTH SO VERY MUCH!!!

What a perfect example of an "Old matured, seasoned frienship" and a " fresh newly born friendship", but two equally very special people in my life who obviously entered my life for reasons that have been unravelled through this blog!!        

This beautiful story just continues to grow, and I just look so forward to this continuing inspirational journey in my life!

Anna and Suzanne reunited! It's like meeting in the hallways or the Locust Valley High School, or lunchtime in the cafeteria all over again! Hello Ellen! Yes it is fun seeing Anna on her journey! Her (unsaid) message is clear:

  • Look back and thank God (even for delivering you.)
  • Look forward and trust God (He is helping her through, giving her the knowledge and understanding to endure her health problems and to treat them the natural way, His way. He has place all you wonderful people in her life!)
  • Look around and serve God (what a journey to share; what an inspiration!)

Yes, Ellen,  Rick, Suzanne - this is a party, and it has me laughing with goosebumps.   Ellen, I just told you the other night how I dream about L.V. School  and classmates at least once a month.  Well, the past 2 nights I have had those dreams, imagining every one visiting this blog! (smiles)  They would not believe that this is the same "shy, quiet Anna Banana" who "knew all of the answers but would not talk" as some of the teachers told mom.  This journey really is something to be proud of. 

And, you go Ellen with that walk/run!!!

Rick, like in your special-made cards to me, I love your beautiful, spiritual touch.  And, you know how often we talk about good old L.V. Schools and classmates!  I guess that those dreams are powerful energy!  Who else is going to surprise me next?!
