I received a phone call today from a woman who wants to join a Houston-area Dave Ramsey Financial Peace University class.  She saw a previous blog I wrote regarding Dave Ramsey coming to Houston this past fall.

         On your mark, get set, SAVE!!

I was showing homes at the time of her call, so I was unable to help her at that very minute, but I will be calling her back tomorrow morning to share this info with her.  Her goal is to own a home, but she needs to begin working on eliminating her debt first.  I am excited for her!  She is taking her first steps toward financial freedom!

If you are wanting to own a home, but you know you need to work on your credit score as well as  a downpayment, I encourage you to enroll in a Dave Ramsey course near you!

Sonja, I'm not sure if i buy into the Dave Ramsey, for I think a lot of what he says is just plain common sense. However, I think you would be just as qualified.

Winston, I think it is common sense for those of us who were blessed with a parent or parents who handled money well.  I was blessed to have that kind of upbringing.  And then there are some personalities who are natural savers and others are natural spenders.  Thank you for stopping by to comment!
