It's obvious by now to readers of this Blog that this Quarryville Realtor is a big fan of the Quarryville Library. This year's sale of used books will take place at the Library from 9 am until 8 pm on Thursday May 17th and 9 am until 5 pm on Friday May 18th. The Library is located at 357 Buck Road, Quarryville, PA.
Close to 20,000 books will be offered for sale. They will include novels, mysteries, biographies, yearbooks, packs of National Geographic Magazine, and sets of books dealing with single topics. The sets include books on World War II, Native Americans, handyman books, natural science, and photography.
In addition the Library has books in foreign languages. Books written in German, Latin, Spanish and French. All foreign language books will be in the lobby book store. The remaining books will be displayed in the Carlson Cultural Room.
The bi-annual sales are held by the Friends of the Quarryville Library and are the group's primary fundraisers. The volunteers operate the book store in the Library lobby.
Since this Quarryville Realtor is an avid reader, I'm planning on working this event into my schedule.
