Can you imagine what life was like a hundred years ago?
So much has taken place in our world in 100 years. Here are some interesting statistics for the year 1908:
*The American Flag had only 45 stars
*The average wage in 1907 was 22 cents per hour
*Only 8% of the homes had a telephone (can you imagine)
*2 out of every 10 adults couldn't read or write
*Coffee was 15c A POUND!! Wouldn't that be nice today.
*Tallest building the world was the Eiffel Tower
*Average life expectancy was 47....today life starts at 47!
*Get this...only 14% of the homes had a bathtub - oh boy, what would we do without our bubble baths.
and one last one...
90% of all doctors had NO COLLEGE EDUCATION - imagine that!
Now think...what will life be like in 100 more years? I know one, "MLS...what's that?"
