For outdoor enthusiasts and horse owners, Colorado is an amazing state.  There are four seasons and varied terrain.  In the area between Denver and Colorado Springs, if you look to the West, you will find mountains.  Look to the East and you will find either rolling hills or wide open plains.    Most people think of life in the city as city life.  Venture a few miles outside of Denver and you are able to capture a totally different feel.  Peaceful and relaxing are the two words that come into mind. 

This photo essay provides a glimpse of what it is like to live in Colorado.  I took the following photographs. This home, which is for sale, is situated on almost 12 acres of horse property in Parker, Colorado.   Parker, part of the Denver metropolitan area, is located 20 miles southeast of Denver.   Approximately 45,000 residents live within Parker's incorporated boundaries.   The listing price is $849,900.
