The results are in! I was happy to support Build San Antonio Green but can't say the turnout was all that good. For Green Home Realty, however, it was fine. I spent the day with two wonderful people - my son Cory who will be attending Construction Careers High School as a pre-engineering/arcrhitect next year, and one of my mortage partners, Stephanie Stringer with Ameripro Funding. But that's not all.
Mr. Bill Sinkin stopped by to visit my booth! Mr. Sinkin is the reason we have solar programs in San Antonio! At just under 100 years young, Mr. Sinkin is the founder of Solar San Antonio! He stopped by to give me an invitation to his 99th birthday party this Friday - cool! But wait, there's more!
I have a new recruit, Drew. I'll do a full blown announcment for him in a few weeks when he finishes his license. Yes, a newbie! I haven't really been recruiting, and definately not a newbie. But when you meet him you'll see he's a real fire cracker and a greenie at heart! He saw me and made a B-line with tail wagging! Me too! He's an MBA working as a retail store manager at a well known store looking to have more control over his finances and hours.
The only thing could top this off is.... a new client! It's a green builder who specilizes in geothermal HVAC - that's a whole new blog topic so feel free to research it until then. Once we find a track of land we can move forward with a spec house. Cool!
So, while I'm sad I didn't sell any of my properties or find leads for one of my builder clients, I am happy that I had some success.
