What's the Deal With Linked in?
I'm on Linked in and for those of you I haven't connected with; come on down!
I love the fact Active Rain let's us 'Like' , 'G+' and 'Tweet' and 'share' on Linked in, (great for SEO) and I try to do that with every post I comment on that is 'public' (fyi - if you try to 'like' a 'members only' post it won't show up).
But why do I get an 'error' every now and then from Linked in when I try to share a post? (Especially Mine!)
Is it because the person I'm trying to share doesn't have a Linked in profile? (But then why does it do it for my posts? Are we not allowed to share our own stuff?)
Is it just a glitch and if I took the time to try again it would work?
What's the scoop?
Any one know?

Peg, could be that you are not logged in on LinkedIn when you are posting your blog on LinkedIn. Just a guess...

Praful, Thanx for the guess! But, I am logged on whenever I'm logged on to Active Rain, though. I love Firefox because when you open a session you can restore all the pages that were open when you closed Firefox the last time and I have all my pages open for fb, twitter, Linked in, klout, my outside blog and my website. My husband just shakes his head because I have this row of tabs open at the top of my page! lol

It's getting annoying Tom, especially when I'm trying to share some great posts, like the ones you write! (although I can't rmember if it happened when I was trying to share one of yours!)

Peg, I need to figure out how to share all these things that you mentioned. It didn't even occur to me that the posts could be shared on Linked In - which I am just now starting to pay attention to.
