I love Rush Limbaugh's comments tonight on FOX...he is right...people are paying their mortgage payments...the situation is not as bad as the pathetic market is projecting.

I have been posting...STAY POSITIVE for several months...after all, how many new's reporters have a clue about the REAL, YES I SAY REAL, REAL ESTATE MARKET???

I mean, the issue is, the banks cannot close real deals...they are slow to close even good deals...they are causing the issues right now...even good deals are being disrupted by the banks...even cash deals are causing issues...in wired transactions...so. JMO....its another issue...

Karen, While I am not a fan of Rush he is right in this case.  THe problem with the lending industry is right now everyone is just so afraid to make a decidision.

I say "It's a mortgage mess".

It goes way farther than real estate, homes, buyers, agents.  It extends all the way up the financial markets ladder. 

It extends to hedge markets and foreign econonies.  They were all making big bucks on the housing boom fueled by low interest rates.  They got greedy and went too far. 

It's over and they have to take their lumps.  As usual, they want to blame the American people.  They need to look in the mirror.

Most of the mortage problem is in FL and CA.,but the media projects it as all over.  Pretty sad.  We are number 7 in the Nation for the 3rd quarter of 07 here in Austin. So I guess the media isn't always right. ;)
