Are you sure it wasn't one of those plastic owls they place on buildings to keep the pigeons away?
Hi Rob, thanks for stopping by and your comment.
Winston, it looks like it, however the playhouse is next to my house, so I know the hawk is real.
Kwee, Cute pix with two different visions, which just proves you never really know exactly what you're looking at without the big picture. Enjoy your Wednesday!
Larry & Sheila, hahaha you are so right. We needs to look at the big picture to analyze situations.
Kwee, sure looks like there is a "look-out" for the kiddos on the playground today!
I love hawks. I wish you would have had a longer telephoto so we could see that guy up close.
Great photo capture of the playground guard! haha.
Kwee - That bird is acting as the playground sentry. No funny stuff allowed while he is around:-)
Kwee, That is cool to have such a great watcher over the playground! Talk about multi use buildings! Have a great Wednesday!
Kwee, I thought this might be something relating to a play! Love your bird - looks like he is scanning the area for a mouse to eat for lunch.
Kwee, This is the kind of photo I would take. I love birds ... you did a great job capturing this one on top of the play house!
Love the picture Kwee and thanks for a wordless post LOL. Good luck and hope all your efforts pay off
Kwee,
My kids would have called it a fort! All the same, great place to hang out!
Great photo. And is that a hawk or falcon? Whatever, sure looks like they have a nice observation perch.
Kwee - great shot of that lovely red-shouldered hawk. He seems to be King of the playground.
The hawk is looking for food I guess. Normally there are many other smaller birds, squirrels and rabbits around the area.
