18 Comments on My Island In The Sun
Good morning Karen,
Another cute turtle blog - is this the same one playing in the water as before?
Turtles are so cool. They just swim around when the want, eat when they want, sun themselves every day and generally enjoy life..... hmmmm.... maybe we should have all been born turtles.
I've always loved turtles, my brother has two in his classroom and I have caught myself just sitting there watching them. Last year our zoo had baby ones and I realized after 20 minutes that I had just been watching the little guys with no concept of how much time had passed.
Lisa No, this one was in another area of the pond
Jeanne and Ralph That is an idea, but not for me
Todd They are mesmerizing
Karen this so reminds me of living on a lake in MN when I grew up. There were turtles everywhere and it was fun finding them and watching them.
You are better at capturing these little guys, I keep "stalking" my pond but my turtles dive before I can snap their photo.
Anna We have them in ponds all over the place
Lisa I took that photo about 30 feet away - the turtle didn't even know I was there
Karen ....another great shot ....I'm glad you always have your camera with you ....Have a great night!
Love those little tortoise, we see them in the pond in Central Park sometimes.
Kind of a small Island, Karen! For most, at least!
Have a great week!
Karen, thanks for sharing a turtle photo with us on Speechless Sunday! How cute! :)
