If you are looking to buy a Novi condo you may find that some of them back to a main road, or very close to a main road.   In the metro Detroit area many condo complexs are right off a main road.  Many were built when the developer could not or would not use the site for a home.

Years ago in Metro Detroit they built many homes on main roads.  They do not do that very often anymore.  There are more condos being built on main roads now.  What does that mean for a Novi Condo buyer?  I will always tell you that a condo or home on a main road will sell for less money than a condo that is off the main road.

If you do not mind the noise or do not sit outside much then a condo on the main road is good so long as you are buying on the low end of the condos in the complex.  It does not matter if the condo is completely updated.  A condo that is on the main road should be priced cheaper than other condos in the complex.  Buying a Novi condo on a main road is just “city living”.  I have been told by many people that they don’t even hear the traffic after they live there away when they are one the deck.  It becomes background noise to them.

Just remember when buying a Novi Condo that if you bought it cheap because it was on the main road, it will sell cheap when you have to sell it.  Do not think you have instant equity in the house.  So buy smart and pay lower when buying a Novi condo on a main road.
