Cincinnati's Summerfair June 1, 2 & 3, 2012: Arts Galore!
Love UNIQUE items to decorate your home, your yard, yourself? Neat gifts that you KNOW won't be duplicated by anyone else? Then head to the 45th annual Summerfair being held at Coney Island June 1-3, 2012.
With over 300 artists and craftspeople displaying their best works for sale, you'll get variety of every type, and this isn't limited to just local artists by any means. Artists from across the country AND Canada journey to Cincinnati for this three day event. Whether you love woodworking, metalwork, painting, photography, ceramics, jewelry, you name the category, SOMEONE here will have it!
How much you want to spend is up to you, but each item is going to bring back memories of Summerfair! And in addition to the displays, there will be plenty of live entertainment and a kid's craft area too!? There's just no reason not to enjoy this event down next to the Ohio River!
Tickets are $10/adult, children 12 and under are free. Hours are 2-8 pm Friday, 10-8 Saturday and 10-5 Sunday. Parking is included. Coney Island is located off Kellogg Avenue just off of I-275 on the Ohio River. Visit www.Summerfair.org for further details.
As always, they'll have commemorative posters available for sale, along with food and drink. Event is held rain or shine, but we're obviously hoping for plenty of shine. No pets other than registered service dogs! Proceeds help fund various arts related activities throughout the year.
So if you can make the trip, get down to Summerfair this weekend. We guarantee you'll find at least one thing you love!
