This Saturday May 19, 2012 the beach comes to Snellville for the first Snellville Beach Blast. What is that you say?
The City of Snellville is bringing over 60 tons of white sand to transform the Towne Green into a beach.
First you can participate in your choice of a 5K, 10K or Kids fun run then you can enjoy some great family time with your neighbors.
There will be a bungee jump, there will be inflatables for kids, a water slide, badminton court, a sand castle contest, a watermelon eating contest and a cookie walk. There will be food, music, dancing and much more. The Beach Blast starts at 1:00PM and ends at 8:00PM.
