Al, Can't believe it's time to think about the hurricane season already but this is a great reminder for those living in the area to prepare and linking to the website is a great start!
Hi Al. Nice reminder to be smart and have a plan in place in case of emergency.
Hi Al,
You can never be too prepared when it comes to fighting mother nature.
Remember she will always win.
Have a great day and a safe Hurricane season.
Best, Clint mcKie
It is always good to have a Plan A and a Plan B. I hope this year produces no storms that cause major harm or any harm
good post Al! We have been lucky in Centeral florida the last few years, lets hope this continues this yrs
Good Morning Al, thank you for sharing this information. It's that time again for sure!
Hello Al,
This shows that you have great proactive skills, which is a great skill to have not only in business but in life in general. The ability to plan ahead vs waiting until something actually happens in RE can as you know potentially save problems and dollars down the road. Great post.
Thank you for stopping by to read my blog and to comment this morning Ed, Larry & Sheila, Cal, Clint, Doug, Frank, Wayne, Dale and Robert, I appreciate your comments and support. Have a great day.

Clint, thanks, mother nature sure can be powerful.
Doug, thanks, we all hope for zero land falls.
Frank, thanks, yes we sure hope for another light season.
Wayne, thanks, we need to get ready for the worst and hope for the best.

Robert, thanks for the kudos. Planning ahead makes a lot of sense.
Al, just when hurricane season seems a long distance away, it creeps in again. Good points about make a disaster plan and prior preparation just in case. Congratulations on the Feature!
Good morning Al -
Hurricane season 2012 is almost here. Are you ready? A good question for those in the line of these huge storms. Here in the high desert we're praying for a half inch of rain. We normally have eight inches a year in rain. Makes a hurricane season seem so very far away.
Have a great day and enjoy all you do my friend.
John
Congratulations on the featured blog AL. Hurricane season has got off to an early start. As we have seen here in New England the last few years, Hurricanes can make a direct path at us, although the winds tend to be lower than when they hit Florida, the flooding leaves wide spread distruction.
Al, Congrats on the feature. Yes hurricane season is almost here and I hope it will not be a bad year of storms. It is tragic and costly too.
Yikes, don't remind me! The news reported the first tropical storm headed for the coast which is a little early for hurricane season. Always makes me cringe because I have a beach house in OBX and I'm not ready to open my wallet to weather damage repairs!
Good morning Al, we learned this as children in the Scouts program, 'Be prepared." It still holds true in everything else, especially hurricane season.
We know the drill well since we've lived on a barrier island for many years and went through the '04 storms. It is time to inventory our hurricane kit, update the important papers and, most importantly, find a few nice hotels that accept pets if we need to leave. I know what I'll be doing over the Memorial Day weekend...
Thanks for all the great comments and thanks everyone and ActiveRain for the feature. Have a great day.
There is the drawback to living down there. However, we have tornadoes. So...
Wishing you a very safe hurricane season, Al.
I hate tornadoes. I can't imagine being in a hurricane. Good warning, Al.
Thanks Ron and Suzanne. Have a great day.
