I believe this can only be done with the professional version, but wanted to check and see if anyone has found a workaround.  Can you change your background color on the standard site?  If so, how?  I may upgrade later but want to see what all I can do with the standard version first.  Thanks!

Calvin, you might try pasting the following stylesheet into the HTML view of one content area on every page. This will change it to light blue, so you'll need to define the color that you actually want:

<style type="text/css">
<!--
body {
    background-color: #99CCFF;
}
-->
</style>

Thanks Suzanne!  I knew there was a way and that someone on here would know how.  Thanks again.

You're welcome, Calvin. And welcome to Point2! If you have not already checked it out, the Point2 message board is an excellent place for Standard members to find or get answers to questions.

Suzanne,  Thanks for the welcome and I have been to the Point2 message board and found a lot of help there, too.  I have read a lot of what you have posted on there as well.  Do you know of a way for me to eliminate the background image under the navigation buttons?  I changed the background color, but the image is a large rectangle with a white background.  I can't access the html code for that section of the template to delete the image.  The choices require you to pick an image; no option for no image.  Thanks again for  your help!

Thanks for the reminder regarding the point2 message board. I have been a point2 user for nearly 4 years now and have never used the message board. How dumb is that? I read the activerain messages all the time, but have consistently forgotten about point2 help. Thanks again!

Dee, Point2's message board really is a better place to go for help since it's monitored both by Point2 tech support, other members and by vendors such as myself. Calvin, I think it's time for you to upgrade! Then you can either use the Stealth template which has a menu option that has no background (see RealEstateUtah.com) for an example, or you can completely replace the menu with a custom menu (see KTMills.com). Or better yet, you can hire me to design a full custom site for you. -:)

I was thinking the same thing Suzanne!  Your work is very professional and I may take you up on that!  How does a site like strongrealtyofutah.com do the modifications with the Point2 Standard layout?  I have looked at their code but can't see how they are making those changes within the template.  Thanks again.

Calvin, I suspect that someone in his brokerage has a Point2 Premium site. Point2 Premium sites can spin off free copies of the site. StrongRealtyofUtah.com is built on the Stealth template, which, except in the case of Premium site spin-offs, is only available to Professional and Premium members. Other than using the Stealth template, that site is very basic. If there are specific changes that you want to know about, I might be able to help you.

Thanks Suzanne!  I knew I had not seen many of the standard sites with those changes.  Thanks for your help.  I will have plenty of questions once I upgrade.  I did many small sites with Dreamweaver several years ago, but I have forgotten most of what I knew about HTML, XML and CSS in that time.
