6 Comments on This Year’s Deadline for Weed Abatement is June 11 in El Dorado County
Tom,
This is great information for our area! I'll help spred the word too! Thanks so much for the heads up!!!
The word needs to get out DeeDee. You would be surprised to see how many wait until the last weekend to clear the vegetation.
Tom, I have no clue how Weed Abatement works on the larger, non-residential lots in my market area. But, the typical residential neighborhood lots... the week maintenance is watched over by all of the HOAs. Just about every new home subdivision has one... and belonging is mandatory.
Here in Colorado Springs we have "Firewise" they come out to your home and advise you on how to prep and keep your yard as to not provide fire fuel. Great service and it's free!
Karen, there are homes that are much like being the country. Wild grasses, trees, shrubs growing wild, this can create a fire hazard during the summer months.
That sounds like an excellent service. I don't think we have anything like that here, we just learn the rules Susanna.
