On December 31, 2011, we wrote our very first blog post stating our intentions to blog on a regular basis. Today, we reach 100,000 points. Here's how we did it:
- Comment on at least 10 blogs per day x 25 points = 250 points per day = 1750 points per week.
- Blog 10 times per week, including an AR channel for each post x 225 points per post = 2250 points per week.
At that rate, it will take 25 weeks to reach 100,000 points. You could do it sooner by:
- Writing content interesting enough to get featured = 150 extra points.
- Write content interesting enough to get comments = 10-100 extra points.
- Participate in all of the interesting contests AR provides = 1000-6000 extra points.
- Reblog interesting posts = 25 points per reblog.
The points aren't what AR is about, but the points do reward behaviors that are necessary to get business!
