How pretty! I don't think I've seen those flowers here in North Carolina, not in red anyway. And that's a good point, about the showy flowers distracting from the condition of the fence. There's a reason for putting lipstick on a pig, after all!
On e of the things I like the most about Trumpet vine is the hummingbirds they attract. We have not quite bloomed out here yet
