Hi Mike. Yes if you have been paying attention you certainly know who Jon is...and you have a current picture of both him and his wife. You go Mike! Your not on no vacation by the way..Suggested.
Me too, Kathy. I wish you all were in north FL. 8-)
Cheryl, I'll be calling you the next time I'm heading to NVA with a flexible schedule. I really enjoy meeting everyone in person. We did talk about real estate a little, but we talked about other things too. Does that count as a break?
Active Rain is a fertile ground for exponential and unlimited learning about real estate. I only wish I had more time to be online.
I bet you are busy with two professions, Jennifer.
Mike, you weren't kidding...you did have a great meet up too! Isn't it funny to think, you can go anywhere in the states and feel so connected because you will find a local Rainer?
That's right, Ellen. I hope to catch up with a few while heading back up the coast. Should be fun. I'm glad to see your adventure was a success.
Mike - wow, that's a treat, thank you. I enjoyed our meeting. Now thinking that I did not ask you so many questions, but hey, I hope for more (sincerely), so I will correct my mistake.
Enjoy you vacation time here in Daytona. Hope you didn't get a heartburn after that spicy stuff :)
It was a real pleasure meeting you and Olga. I enjoyed hearing about your work here, and I wish I had asked more non-real estate questions. 8-) Habit of the business, I guess. Loved the Thai restaurant. It was really good. I will definitely try to get my veggie son to drop in there the next time he's in town. If you all have another opportunity to meet up, it's our treat. Thanks for making time for us.
Neat to read about your meeting and making some personal connections with folks you know through the rain is actually pretty cool.
Cal
Cal, we had a really nice visit. I'm sure we'll make this an annual event. I'll see you in Lancaster one of these days.
Hi Mike, I wholeheartedly agree, making connections and getting to know people on a professional and personal level is one of the best parts of AR! I'm still thankful that you called me out and I was able to participate in your Spin For A Cure and honor some of the people in my life who've been affected by the disease!
Wouldn't it be great if one of the Active Rainer's took a trip across country, stopping along with way with local members and sharing the entire experience with the rest of us on their blog? Are you listening Kerrie?
What a great opportunity to meet with an AR member while away from home Mike.
Hi Mike. Super experience. Great way to enjoy your vacation.
I was glad to have you too, Andrea. I look foward to seeing the Bedard clan again.
That would be really great, Doug.
It was a lot of fun, Tom. I'm looking forward to more meet ups.
It really was, Conrad. Lots of great folks on here.
Mike,
What an interesting chain of events. Jon Zolsky's blog brought me to you, and your post today is about Jon. It is fun to meet all the great people, and I followed Jon's advice and read your bio. It is clear, concise and a great easy read. Have a great weekend. A
Thanks, Alexandra. Jon is a great guy. If you're in the neighborhood, drop by and visit with him.
Mike - I've met Jon on a few occasion and it is always a pleasure talking with him. It helps living here in Lakeland FL to say the least. Enjoy your stay :)
I almost missed this post. Glad to see you you two were able to work it out. With your condo right down the road, I'm sure there will be other occasions.
That's great, Petra. I enjoyed our visit quite a bit.
It was nice, Jill. We went to a great Thai restaurant for lunch. I'll definitely keep that one on my to-do list.
