14 Comments on Squirrels Created Evolution! Oh, Yes, They Did!
This is such a capitalist economy where everything is disposable. Try living in Europe where they buy nothing and live in the past.
Wow Suzanne! I saw that yesterday and I have to say you are brave to post it! This forum is full of rabid right-wingers.. Be prepared for the onslaught of the thumpers and wing-nuts. The analysis is of course, correct. The difficulty is that this is one lone voice in sea of "gimmie, gimmie..I'm a job creator!"
without us as sales folks, the world would basically stop, we create the environment of moving our planet forward
Ruthmarie and Jennifer, thanks for commenting on this post. I know...I never fear to tread where (and I won't take that any further here either). And, oh, yes, I have been warned by my friends and others as well.
Suzanne -- Squirrel vs nuts and job creation -- YIKES I am still trying to get over the concept that I am not the center of the universe(let alone this planet they call Earth is not either -- OHHH M G). I have read about Nick before -- good to see this video and see him present his concept.
Suzanne,
The rich do create jobs. Mark Zucherberg create a lot of jobs...how many employees are working at Facebook. When Howard Hughes died, his daily payroll was one million dollars, That was the catch without all the benefits of insurance, pension, etc.
When the Silicon Valley mansion was sold for over 100 million, he hired many designers, interior and landscape, architects, domestic help, gardeners, bought furniture, art, electronics, etc. The agents who sold and listed got nice commission checks which they no doubt paid their bills with, saved for their kid's college funds, they may have hired someone to fix their homes, bought new cars, etc. All these things are produced by people who earn a living. When the buying stops, the jobs dry up.
That is my humble opinion. LOL A
Suzanne, I am a firm believer that unlike Ruthmarie's comment it is not about "right or left" it is about economic principals period. Alexandra is right!
Suzanne, I agree with Endre's comment. It is the economic principles that tell it like it is. To further that, I agree, if you don't work, you don't eat. Work has so many varying degrees, but sitting on your butt waiting for the handout is not acceptable in my book. It is not good for mind or spirit or the country.
I love your sentiments expressed in this blog, Suzanne! The power of consumers is great when they use the strength of the dollars in their pocket to do their talking. Capitalism by itself would devour anything and everything in its path, if allowed to. Afterall, corporations are not people, as one of the latest rulings by the supreme court suggests. Corporations do not have a heart, they do not have a soul. They only have an agenda and a responsibility to shareholders to create profit.
As a sideline about your subject line about squirrels and evolution. The news reported a guy that had his arm chomped on by an aligator recently. He seemed to know a lot about aligators. He stated that aligators are more related to birds than they are other reptiles. . .WHO KNEW?
Great video. Very true, without need there is no buying no matter what the product
That was a great video. And a very good explanation. Thanks, Suzanne.
I believe it is the small businesses that create jobs, Suzanne. Great video.
#Myrl - Maybe he didn't know as much about alligators as he should have :)
I can't keep up with you! Are you on a race to the finish line?
