After I responded to a few questions and finished a follow-up email to the wife, it occurred to me how absolutely amazing it is to be able to send so much information at the click of a button.
I created a private Picasa Web Album for them of the places that we had visited. The photos were geo-tagged and even accessible through Google Earth. I even took a couple of photos of the family on the beach.
I put up a Carteret County Picasa Album to illustrate what I did for my clients with a little borrowed magic from the Google folks.
When you combine that with the information we can get out of MLS and many of online real estate information sites, it is truly mind boggling the amount of detail that we can put at the finger tips of potential clients.
It is amazing how much you can figure out about a place, like North Carolina's Southern Outer Banks, without even visiting.
Maybe all the information is why I have been lucky enough to have two clients buy places on their first visits to the area this winter.
If they can wade through all the information before they get to me, they are certainly well qualified.
Technology has given us some amazing tools, I am having fun with them.
