The life of a Realtor is ever so changing; blogging is one of the biggest changes the Realtor has faced in the last five years.
I was recently thanked on a blog by a Realtor, she was very thankful of a perspective I laid-out. The perspective I tried to show was don’t worry about blogging just do it! Too many Realtors are fearful of blogging and because of this, fear stops them from blogging.
The most important thing is to blog, if you’re too worried about making mistakes, you’re too worried to blog. Blogging is a very important vehicle to a realtor; this is their best way to let their clients know about the Real Estate Market and them. Blogging gives you the control, blogging lets you communicate better.
New challenges a Realtor must take on, Blogging!
The contention to blogging is complex, but don’t let that get in your way. The biggest snag a Realtor faces is just starting. There’s no rule that says; “you need this and this before you start blogging”. Please don’t listen to gossip that claims your blog has to be perfectly written; what a joke!
Of course you always want to produce a blog that’s written like an English professor, but the reality is most agents aren’t writing to that skill level. The good news is the more you blog the better you become; that’s something to hang your hat on, and the better news is you don’t seem like such a Robot!
The truth is doing your best blogging is what really counts; you’ll see your best is perfect! Don’t be fearful, “you just think there’re new challenges a Realtor must take on when blogging”.
Think about what’s right and then do it; I always say; “It’s harder to do the wrong thing verses doing the right thing”
