Hey guys,

With Bill taking over as VP, and Ireland taking over as GM...and maybe Tony "Soprano" maybe taking over as the coach of the Dolphins...what a week!

With Ireland saying in the news that the players are free to seek other employment...Bills just cleaning house...

Actually, it's about time...I feel bad for Cam, I mean he was delt a bad deck and left overs...

A 1 - 15 history doesn't help but with all the injuries and the mess he walked into, if I  were him, I would have worked a deal to resign gracefully rather than to "be fired" over a situation created by "you know who" who chickened out and went back to college FB.

So, now that the writing is on the wall...

How many players on the current team to you the the "BIG TUNA" will keep? I mean after all...they aren't meshing, they aren't coordinating, and the team just doesn't fit...

What's your opinion?

UPDATE:  Cam's gone and the support staff as well...does look like we are headed for the cowboys taking off their boot's and putting on the flippers!!!

The Dolphins are in good hands now. It may not happen overnight, but the transformation has begun. I only wish we could have somehow gotten Parcells back where he belongs - in NJ with the Giants!

It is all about the dough and we will see many offers coming up and who knows what will happen.

You nailed it. Karen. I felt for the Coach too. The Big Tuna, however, usually leaves teams in better shape than when he arrived. Pats, Jets, Cowboys. If he stays for 1-2 years the Dolphins should be rocking in 3-5.

Jim,

Hehe...we got him now and "LOOK OUT!" he's cleaning house and told the players they were free to look elsewhere...does that mean the cowboys are now dolphins?....oh my! Can't wait to see!

Gary,

I'll be the money will be there, if Bill want's it...he has cart blanche! I'm sure. The big "H" will do anything to get his team back where he want's it!

Andrew,

Absolutely...The Big Tuna has a 4 year contract and he takes no prisoners....it's every man for himself...the word is...the current Dolphins are free to seek employment elsewhere...that is according to Ireland...the new GM!

Should be interesting,....I'll bet dimes to dollars we'll have Tony as our newest Coach...rumour has it anyway!

:-)

Karen,

Parcells is a no nonsense guy. He doesn't really care if he offends anyone along the way. That's what I love about him. Bottom line is he's paid to win not make friends. The biggest mistake the Giants ever made was siding with George Young (GM at the time) and letting Parcells walk. I truly believe if they had gone with the Parcells vision rather than the Young vision for the team, we would've had a dynasty here in Jersey (NY).

I have to admit, I'm jealous! But rest assured, your Dolphins will be winners again in the near future. They've got the best football man out there heading up the franchise. Congratulations!

Karen, can you please send Tony Romo to Chicago. The Bears could really use him. :~)

Hank,

We might need to recruite Romo to the Dolphins...you know that Mr. Ireland said the current Dolphins were free to go elsewhere if they choose!

As I type TUNA as my graphic! LOLOL!!!!!
