Is real estate a family affair for you?
Historically my family has been involved in real estate and construction in Bryan-College Station Texas for 70 years. My Grandfather was a teacher at Texas A and M and built homes on the side in the 30's. My Great Uncle began building in the 40's and helped develop several neighborhoods. Dad built homes and commercial buildings, and developed in the 50's through the 90's. Our family is still building developing and selling real estate in this area today. AND my daughter married a great young man who is also building homes. My son is working with an investor and a property manager in Houston. It has to be in the blood. Go figure.
Good Traditions Continue for decades.
Recently a family friend of many years asked if we would entertain building his new home and said it was a Family tradition as our family had built his dad's home back in the 60's. We have been primarily speculative home builders for the last 20 years, but you know....I really don't won't to break a tradition. After-all... Aggieland is probably one of the few areas left that places such high regard for tradition. It is sure hard for me to even think of saying no on this home.
Is real estate sales, developing , or building in your blood ?
