I love it when these restaurant weeks roll around. We have one here in Miami also, always a good time to check out new places and score good deals.

Juli:  Sounds like a great way to check out all of the restaurants in the Arizona area all in one week. And a good reason not to cook!!!

Wandanna, there's certainly something for everyone.

Irene, I was looking for Sapporo, but it's not on the list - sigh!!!!

Ellen, if you ever come visit Scottsdale, I'm taking you to my all time favorite Italian restaurant - Gianfranco's.  His food is always AMAZING.

Kevin, for me, it gives me the momentum to try "that one" I've always wanted to try.  I've got two picked out for this week.  Can't wait.

LOL, Joan, I agree.  But, they do this twice a year - spring and fall.  I'm usually good for dining out a MAX of twice a week.  But each time, I get to try different restaurants.  And, it's so much fun.

Thanks for the reminder.  My ladie's luncheon group meeting is this week - I'll suggest we try something from the Tucson Arizona restaurant group - there's a couple I recognize and have heard great things about.

Jane, did you check out some of their prix fixe menus?  My mouth is watering and my husband just fixed us a great filet on the grill.

Mom, this would be a great idea for your ladies group.  The prices for Arizona Restaurant Week are $20 or $30 - it's almost worth driving down there to enjoy the great restaurants in Tucson.

Jennifer, I already have my two picked out - one is a "regular", one is a newbie for me.  I'll let you know know, but both of these restaurants are SO GOOD based on all the reviews.

Juli, I think we do have a similar Restaurant Week in Boston - liked the idea of your 'local' post and if there was any Indian Vegetarian Restaurant for me.....

This sounds great. Dining out is kind of a hobby with me. With my husband being a chef, we are always looking to try new things.

Juli, This is such a great idea. Sometimes all I want is to sample/taste a dish.  Congrats on the Feature!

HOORAY...!!!!  One of my favorite weeks of the year!  Our best find about 3 yrs ago was Roaring Fork - we can walk to it from our house but had never been.  Deep fried avocados were a winner!

They have been doing this in Manhattan for quite some time and also on Long Island.  It's a wonderful way to try some very upscale places at affordable prices.

Praful, there's actually one on the list and I have one very near my home!!!!

Doug, it usually does bring out a lot of people - great for everyone.

Debbie, your husband and I will have to share some recipes - I'm no chef, but I LOVE to cook.

Thanks, Kathleen - typically, my husband and I will share a dish as we're not real big eaters.

Sharon, I haven't tried the deep fried avocados.  Had the Big A$$ burger, of course, LOL.

You're so right, Liz - most of these places are the "special night out places" - birthdays and anniversaries and such.
