Drawing the Line!!

In Lance Winslow'sblog entitled "How Much Should Realtors Be Fined for Their Part in the Subprime Lending Crash?" he wrote that Realtors should burden the blame for fueling the Subprime crash and that we should be jailed, fined etc. Well I like a healthy debate and while I strongly disagree with his view, he is entitled to express them and we are entitled to challenge them. It stirred a lot of emotion and responses flew back and forth.

Well now in his latest, and I hardly dare say blog, more of a rant, he has in my opinion crossed the line. In Are Realtors Inherently Good or Evil? - the Secret Revealedhe asserts that ALL Realtors are evil. No exceptions. This isn't there to encourage healthy debate, it is in my opinion an insult and verbal assault aimed at our profession. His tag line says it all, it is mean't to offend and he is clearly proud of it. Enough is enough.

I agree with you. Lance should keep his comments related to himself and keep the rest of us out of it. Some of us work our tails off the the betterment of our clients.

After all the big debate with all these famous dead white men philosophers is that "All men are inherently evil" so, I was just playing on the theme, and poking a little fun and Smile, you got 200 pts for talking about it! Yes and you probably do, but the operative word in your statement is "SOME" and so, why not ALL? - Lance

Ah ha LAnce it has all been a big joke. Ha ha.... Well as I said before I like a healthy debate, but I think you need to learn when a joke is not a joke. I look forward to meeting for that latte....and a healthy discussion

There is always someone out there that believes that someone should take the fall of what ever is going on. They need to get over it. We do not sell homes if they cannot get a loan. How dumb to think that we need to share the burden of this situation. IT was those getting greedy on the ways to give out loans.

Hi, Graham: I read a couple of his earlier postings and while everyone is entitled to his or her opinion, some of those posts went a little too far... then again, it seems he was doing it to get a rise out of folks... and in that respect, it worked.
