Carol: I think the designer made it blue in the interior to trick you into thinking cool. LLLLOOOOLLLL
I've heard of them, but never actually tried one. Always nice to hear a personal recommendation. We don't have central air in the new home, so I just may need one!
Good advice Valerie about packing the fans away while selling. I am going to check out these Dyson fans too.
Valerie, If it's quiet, Liz won't want it. She uses a fan for the white noise to sleep every night. I think the one she has now is capable of generating a Cat 5 hurricane :) Bill
Interesting. I had not seen theswe before either. I will have to check this out closer.
I'm LOL at Bill's comment..................excellent!
Hello Valerie. You crack me up and are always fun and interesting. Pack it up indeed. Have a ggod evening.
Valerie - I was wondering if those fans actually did their job. I absolutely LOVE the design!
Hi Val, I am actually one of those people that HATES ceiling fans-so this design is fantastic and I am going to buy one for my bedroom to assist the AC!!! Thank you!
Sharon: New Hampshire, like Ontario, can get very warm in the summer.
Rene: Buyers, seeing fans all over the house, think there is something wrong with the air conditioning when, in our case, it is just to reduce the cost of cooling the house.
Bill: Yikes!!!! Well, at least you know the source of the noise and it isn't the neighbours.
Vern: They are amazing - no blades but lots of wind.
Roger: I did too.
Sheila: Thank you so much.
Sally: I wasn't fond of the blue interior but I think they come now in solid grey. They work so well!!!
Joanna: Let me know when you get one, if you like at as much as I do.
I am a big fan of my big fan. It stands about three feet tall, and takes care of me in the garage, but this sounds cool, too! LOL
I use a fan in the master all summer. Part of the benefit is the white noise LOL. I guess I don't need a Dyson then ;)
Valerie
We don't have too many hot days where I live, but when we do, our ceiing fans are such life savers. But this particular bladeless fun has intrigued me and I wondered how it works. It deserves a spot at the Museum of Modern Art.
Valerie, I am a FAN too! So cool looking...I never saw one before. And I favor a fan more than AC, believe it or not. I hope they sell it here.
Valerie-I was JUST thinking about this particular fan...they Dyson stuff looks so cool, but in my neighborhood, I actually seen them being thrown away (the vaccumns) all the time, so it's made me wonder about the functionality, after the novelty wears off, but good to know...can I check in with you in Sept., just to see how it's fared over the summer?
Hey looks like another great 'have to have' Valerie!! Thanks also for the info on evaporation....didn't know that!
Valerie, I will look for it this weekend. I did not know about these fans till I read your post.
Ron: In the garage? Why not?
Janice: I have the ceiling fan in the bedroom to keep the air moving.
Pacita: It is a very unique design. The blue is just a bit annoying. I would get one that is all grey now.
Ellen: I bet you have found the fan at your local hardware store. They are getting very popular.
Marie: I have one on an end table in the family room and, so far, it is performing above expectations. Get back to me in the fall, by all means.
Al and Peggy. I might even save money by turning off the fans when no one is in the room(s).
Gita: I hope you found the fan. It is a bit of a conversation piece when people are visiting.
