Joni - I'd love to help you, but I'm not using Google Chrome. Hopefully someone else will know what to do. Hang in there!
I use Google Chrome, but have no idea how to help you :-( Hope the right person comes along to assist! Good Luck, it's a real bummer when things do not work like we want them to!
Maybe delete your cookies...sometimes that will help when crazy stuff happens. I wish you luck on finding a solution Joni!
I use Google Chrome and nothing weird is happening with mine.................yet! LOL.

Joni, I don't use Chrome either, but I have it, and it says the same thing as yours --- but there are two tabs at the bottom stating "most visited sites", which could bring back the sites you are looking for.
Joan: I just want it to land on the google search page and I will be happy. Right now, I have to go to the top and type in www.google.com to get to it. :(
Joni ... We don't use Google Chrome either. Wish I could help :(
Joni: No help here...I still use Internet Explorer and Firefox. I bet someone will come along soon with an answer.
Yikes! Q doesn't even know.... this is not looking good. I clicked on the most visited and it just puts up links to the most visited websites, which is an improvement.... So Joan's advice has helped.... But OF COURSE -- I would prefer for it to go back to normal.

Have google chrome loaded, but don't use it either Joni! Firefox fans here! Sorry, please don't pout you have a beautiful smile!

I use Google Chrome but am getting the same as you. I mine home page though set to google.com so just have to push on my little home button.
Ok, I did a little looking around for you....
When you are on Chrome go to the little wrench at the top right. Then click on settings. Go to the section - "On Startup" and like the button to open a specific page or set of pages. When the box pops up type in www.google.com and say ok.
There you should have it. Call me if not and we'll figure it out!
Oh Yes isnt it just great when they change this stuff and we have no idea what is going on !! I currently am in total dispair with FB what happened to that ....LOL
Make the page you want your home page and that will stop, Joni. I had that for a while too and it drove me crazy. I have tabs along the top (bookmark bar) so I can just go to AR or whatever when I want.

Joni- I read your post today and thought I'd come back here to see what happened. I have Google chrome and haven't had that happen but now that I've said it.. it probably will.
