1,000 BLOG POSTS ~ 1,000 REASONS TO BLOG!

With this post, I officially hit my 1,00th blog post!  I can hardly believe it?  What on earth have I posted about 1,000 times?  How did I have time to do this?  How can I keep the pace up?

Those of you who are active bloggers understand the commitment and dedication it takes to post regularly.  Finding new and fresh content takes some creativity and diligence.  However, the rewards are wonderful!

When I began as a "Baby Blogger" on Active Rain just a few years ago, I had no idea of what I was getting myself in to.  I have met so many wonderful friends and colleagues and of course have learned very valuable lessons on the art of blogging.  Not to mention the referrals that I have received as a result of my blogging efforts.

The method to my blogging madness are simple:

  • Keeping my content real and easy to read.
  • Showing my personal side which allows others to get to know who you really are.
  • Keeping the content mixed up.  Alternate market information, listings, sales, personal content and the most important for me - The Localism posts!
  • Staying consistent.  I try to get those 10 posts in per week but don't stress if I miss a week.
  • Commenting and subscribing to others in the Rain.
  • Keeping my camera handy.  This has really led to some interesting content for sure!

Bottom line, get busy and BLOG!  I am so thankful for what I have learned here and I look forward to the next 1,000 posts and beyond!  For those of you who subscribe to my wacky blog, a BIG THANK YOU!  Love to you all!

Congratulations on your accomplishment.  It takes a lot of consistency to achieve results like that and I'm sure those habits reflect your professional work ethic.  That is the beauty of Active Rain. 

By the way, The Woodlands is a great place.  My wife and I were just there for Ironman week.  Incredible hospitality!

Hi Paula. I actually saw this Featured yesterday, but didn't have time to comment until now. Congratulations are certainly in order. 1000 posts in nothing to sneeze at, and I am at that half way mark now. I have heard those first two questions often. How do you find the time, and How do you keep up the pace?

Well, things do slow all of use dedicated bloggers down for awhile, but we all find away to get back into the groove. You have demonstrated how rewarding it can be is you are persistent. Keep Up the Good Work for the Next 1000 posts.
