Our local morning paper, the Arizona Daily Star, has put together a really good resource for people relocating to Tucson, vacationers, locals themselves and anyone just plain interested!  This online guide is pretty comprehensive, including attractions, native flora & fauna (with photos!), event guides, museums, guide to the top 200 employers, restaurants...you name it!

Below are some of my personal photos from around the area--I'll post more as time goes along.  Enjoy!

Just over the ridge is Oracle Road, one of the major transportation corridors running from central Tucson north to Oro Valley & beyond.                                               The signature of the Arizona desert is the Saguaro cactus. Its silhouette can leave varying impressions from the simple beauty of its clean lines to thoughts of people in different poses. It is a good symbol of the warm and friendly people who make Tucson their home.

Mountain views are intrinsic to the splendor of the area. From just about anywhere one can enjoy a beautiful scene, changing with the light of the day.            To the west of Tucson lies Tucson Mountain Park and part of the Saguaro National Monument--just moments away.

Hello Marti,

I'm sitting here staring at your painting of Balance #1 as my wallpaper thinking, "Marti's talents would grace Tucson in many positive ways!"
