Are your buyer's scratching their heads, wondering what home to buy?

With the current buyer's market, taking the steps to be pro-active instead of re-active is the key to a happy client. A happy client is a referral base for sales down the road. And happy clients happen when outstanding services are provided.

Agents, it's time to remove the head scratching frustration from your buyer's house hunting life. By utilizing a home selection program to streamline the housing choice, a client won't have to second guess their decision. You, their agent will become the marriage counselor they will have avoided because of the service you can provide. There's nothing worse then a couple fighting between themselves when the wife has an idea of her Dream Home, while the husband is focused on his Dream Home. In many cases, these Dream Homes are in two exact opposites of the spectrum.

Opposites Attract, so true. As a past Broker, I've seen the frustration that can develop from opposite thinking between a couple. Therefore, I helped develop the Rate A Home program to eliminate any question on what property really meets both individuals needs and wants as a couple.

The program includes buyer note keeping, tracking of properties they tour, and provides ranking reports that combine individual ratings of a couple for each property they tour, displaying the top choice property.

Unlike conventional home buying merely on emotions, the Rate A Home program combines emotional buying along with due diligence buying, as any smart investor would do with any investment they make. Why expect your buyer to make the largest investment in their lives without the smart tools and information to make the correct choice? It's time to think outside the 4 real-estate walls most are stuck between.

How Rate A Home will help you and your buyer:

  • As you tour the buyer through numerous properties, each individual within a couple can rate as many features as they choose from a list of 61 features.
  • The most common amount is between 5-10 of the same features, agreed upon by the couple before the start of the tours. These may include "sufficient kitchen size, first impression of exterior," etc.
  • Choosing to rate 5-10 features allows the buyer to complete the rating report within 1-2 minutes on the road trip to the next showing.
  • Once back to the office, it takes about 2-3 minutes to enter the ratings, which are automatically e-mailed to the buyer by the agent.
  • The result, a ranking report of the best choice of home, condo or rental that meets their combined needs.

Rate A Home is the one and only "buyer decision making program" of its kind available on the market.

Take the time for your clients sake to view the demo of how Rate A Home will work for you and your buyer. We chose to rate all features on the menu, keep in mind the buyer could rate one feature or the entire menu. It's up to you or the buyer on the amount of features they wish to rate.

One low price covers all your buyer's, no matter if you are working with one or a hundred buyers. Sign on today. It's a small investment to make for a happy client.

Your happy customer will brag your services to their friends and family!

Dare to be different then your competitor!

Rate A Home Subscribers are discerning agents who care about their clients making the right choice in the largest investment of their life. When you are on the move, choose Rate A Home.

In most cases I have not seen opposites attract.  Its the house who attracts the wife.

Duane,

You are correct when you say that when dealing with a couple buying together I have to see what it is is that is "most" important for each individual.  No matter the state of their relationship, they will differ on some points.  Nothing brings that out more than a home purchase.  It is truly a balancing act to make each individual happy on what they differ on for their new home.

Yet everything we do as Realtors is a balancing act in most respects.  First-timers are the funniest.

Duane, the thing I like about the Rate-a-home system is you quantify things. Makes decisions much more objective.

Also, I think the house attracting the wife is only "somewhat true." Sometimes the husband is attracted by the yard or the gameroom or the garage size or outside sheds.

Dan, some times I think of the Real-estate Professional as an accountant. "Balancing Act" is the biggest challenge in todays Real-estate world. Finding that happy medium can be a tough one to achieve while keeping both individuals happy.

I agree, the first time buyer's are the funniest and many time include outside sources such as parents.

Gary, thanks for your comment.

Yes, Rate A Home does quantify the home buying procedure. It's a new and improved way for buyers to make the "right" choice in their housing, condo and rental search. It's totally opposite approach of how real-estate has been purchased over the past hundreds of years is for the agent who dares to be different in the services they provide their clients. I view many websites (even Remax Corp has it on their main website, see #7) that instruct the buyer to "Rate the houses" to "narrow down the choice". I didn't realize how many suggested this to the buyer until the program was developed.

Your last line is the biggest difference between men and women. True, the hubby in most cases is only interested in the yard or garage, while the wife is focused on the features of the home for the family, mainly the kitchen. This is where the decision can get sticky on who wins the choice.

Giving both parties an equal say in the individual rating, but then combining those individual thoughts into an objective calculated, combined ranking report, there's no question on which home is the right choice for "both" parties combined.

It removes the agent from getting stuck between his client's indecision and having to give "their thought" on what home is the best choice for them. That's a no win situation because one of the party isn't going to be happy with the choice the agent thinks is right. Even though they asked for the agents input.

Rick, thanks for stopping by. You are fortunate to have ran into clients that don't have you running in circles.

We actually developed the program due to our own kids. They were looking for homes near Kalamazoo. They ran the poor agent to the bones touring so many homes. Then they would re-tour the homes because they couldn't recall what features a home included. So we designed the program more for the agents sake to streamline the process and eliminate alot of running around for the buyers.

Hope your sales have been going well.

Duane
