There are 3 different condo buildings all within walking distance of each other. Two of the three buildings are condo's. This building is different than the other two since they are townhomes. Sea Colony I in Santa Monica, CA was built in 1979, as unique townhomes that have their own private street, named Sea Colony Drive, and private 2 car garage.
There are two rows of 43 multi-level townhomes. The first row of townhomes are two levels with direct ocean views. The second row of townhomes are three levels with ocean views on the top level. There are three different styles of townhomes to chose. Two of the townhomes have 2 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms with 1,855 square feet or 1,916 square feet. The other larger townhome has 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and 2,299 square feet. All levels are usable living space. The interior common area has a cobblestone driveway with guest parking.The HOA dues are $950 a month, include meticulous care and gated entrance with 24 hour security guard.
On average there are 2 townhome sales a year in Sea Colony I, Santa Monica, Ca. The front row with direct ocean views typically sell for at least $400k or more than the second row. See below for the last 2 years of sales:

Just listed is a townhome on the second row, 3 levels with ocean views on top floor, 2 bedrooms, 3 baths, 1,855 square feet, and the list price is $1,695,000. I previewed this last week for my client. It’s in great condition, really clean and a blank canvas ready for a new owner’s personal touch. They just replaced the carpeting, smoothed the cottage cheese ceilings and did a fresh coat of paint. However, the price is a tad lower than usual since the bathrooms and kitchen eventually need updating. There will be no open houses and it’s shown by appointment only, Kristine 310-430-3948 direct.
You have the gorgeous Santa Monica Ocean Park Beach west and one short block east are Main Street's shops and restaurants. My favorite cafe that I have kept as a secret for years is Amelia's Cafe. She makes the best meatball sandwiches from scratch daily. It's my favorite item on her menu other than the homemade soup.
