OK... Now that I have your attention ( I knew the Points angle would get it) let me ask you a question... Have you entered the FAQ Break Into Summer Organized Contest?

I frequently read posts on ActiveRain about points... how to get them....what milestone someone has reached.... how come they haven’t received them yet.... how important they are or aren’t.

Well one sure way to get points is to enter a contest! For the most part you can receive points for any contest you enter.

YES!!!

But wait... that’s not all! Before you say you don’t care about points or you have enough (seriously?), or it’s beneath you... think about this....

ActiveRain contests typically have a point to them.. Bob Stewart’s infamous local or long tail search posts for example.

Anna - I have to admit that business has forced me to take a month-long hiatus from having time to blog. We've been super busy AND I'm training a new assistant - (YAY)!! When I checked in today I kept seeing all these FAQ posts and I knew something must be up!

Let's see if I can make this my "comeback contest"!!
