"It Seems like you are always selling something", was one of the first things the new clients mentioned at our listing appointment. They contacted me out of the blue. "Hi Doug, would you come talk to us about selling our home"? Who doesn't like to hear that on the other end of their cell phone?
My new clients are friends of some of my Facebook friends. When I list a new property, or write consumer targeted posts I like to link to Facebook. Thanks to consistent effort, in their eyes I soon became the "go to" person for real estate advice.
More than anything else, consumers want to know that you can handle their largest transaction. And what's the best gauge of the future? That's right, the past! Waaaay back in the 1700's Ben Franklin wrote, "If you want something done ask a busy person to do it".
Had he not been busy with the ladies in Paris, Ben Franklin would have been a great real estate agent. Work hard for your clients, broadcast your results to the public, and charge that cell phone. You are about to be busy!
