It's that wonderful time of year again - fresh produce delivered to you via farmer's markets. In the northern Illinois area we have an abundance of fresh corn and tomatoes that are grown locally and are especially good later in the season.
In addition to fruits and vegetables, many other vendors are setting up stalls and selling breads, jams, cheeses, sauces, jewelry, and landscaping plants. There is sure to be one close to you - I visit several throughout the area just to see what's available. Please note the different dates and times - not all are on Saturday mornings.

The farmers markets are really getting bigger this year, I think. Great way to showcase your area, Margaret!
