A penthouse in the 90-story One57 building of New York just sold for a record-breaking price of $90 million. The 10,923 square-foot apartment takes up the top two floors of the building, includes 6 bedrooms and eight bathrooms, and also contains a "grand salon" with 23-foot ceilings.
It is located on 155 West 57th Street across from Carnegie Hall and south of Central Park, with astounding views of the city. The buyer remains unknown, but the developer of the building, Gary Barnett, referred to them as a "very nice family" who "people would recognize."
