Wordless Wednesday - Green Spring!
This is why this is my favorite time of year here in Hood River, Oregon... everything seems impossibly green and lush. I took this photo on the Dee Highway, near Tucker Park, about five miles south of the town of Hood River. The actual Hood River lies just to the right of the road, flowing to the town of Hood River.
The Gorge area is one of the most beautiful places in Oregon . . . no question about that. And a lovely photo Gretchen.
Gretchen, now that is green! This is going to inspire me to head for Rock Creek Park tomorrow with my camera - if it stops raining!

Gretchen~ Lush is a great word to describe this photo! Love it! We had rain all day, so everything looked pretty "lush" here too!
And soon, not soon enough the wonderful gorge pairs and apples will be ripe and ready to eat.
With all that green you must get plenty of rain. Send some down to Louisiana if you please!
