Good Golly the Greenhouse is Going Great!
Last year, in December, it was fairly mild and we hired our neighbour to help me build our out of the box shed package.
It was out of the box because I widened the shed (the original plan ended where the right door fram is) and added a greenhouse on the end!
I painted it the colour of this mulch that Lee Valley sells that is supposed to help plants ripen. (What can it it hurt?)
I've planted; cucumbers, watermelon, cantaloupe, peppers, tomato etc. and put the drip irrigation system in. Then I have a timer on the hose bib so it will water once or twice for a 1/2 hour a day.
The pots are really cool, you just cut a hole in a bag of soil and insert the pot top, fill it and plant! I also reused all the hard plastic salad packages that I get.
All I have to do now is hook up the hose! :D
