Memorial Day 2012

While some folks think of BBQ's and department store sales, some of us think of the men and women who gave more of themselves then most of us like to think about.

So let us at least give a moment of thought, maybe even a prayer or two, in thanksgiving to the brave men and women, who make it possible for the rest of us to live in peace.

Thank you, to the real hero's of our country.

You said it perfectly Kenneth. Let's give thanks to all military personnel who have served, are currently active and to those who will embark on a career in one of the U.S. Branches in this great country of ours! They all deserve to be recognized and honored everyday!

Ken, Memorial is a Day to appreciate the time off but time should be put aside to remember those that gave the ultimate for their country as well.

I have never given as much thought to Memorial Day as I should of I am sure. The fun is great but to pause and say thanks is much more important.

Kudos to you for the reminder Ken! Even for us folks up here in Canada, know what the meaning of this weekend is all about and thank the service people of your country like we do our own!
