6 Comments on Memorial Day, 2012
Kenneth-well put, words are never enough to express the gratitude owed to these brave individuals.
You said it perfectly Kenneth. Let's give thanks to all military personnel who have served, are currently active and to those who will embark on a career in one of the U.S. Branches in this great country of ours! They all deserve to be recognized and honored everyday!
Ken, Memorial is a Day to appreciate the time off but time should be put aside to remember those that gave the ultimate for their country as well.
I have never given as much thought to Memorial Day as I should of I am sure. The fun is great but to pause and say thanks is much more important.
Thanks folks for the comments. Gary; Thanks for your service to our Country.
Kudos to you for the reminder Ken! Even for us folks up here in Canada, know what the meaning of this weekend is all about and thank the service people of your country like we do our own!
