Bettendorf, Iowa 2007 Real Estate Market Report: REALTOR-Assisted Home Sales Up 4.7%. But, Average Home Sales Price Declines 2.5% from 2006!

Bettendorf, Iowa 2007 REALTOR-Assisted Home Sales Up 4.7%. But, Average Home Sales Price Declines 2.5% from 2006!
REALTOR-assisted "Closed" sales transactions of existing single-family homes in the city of Bettendorf, Iowa increased by 4.7% in the the year 2007, up from 2006.
With 402 closed sales transactions of existing homes from January 1 to December 31, 2007, the Bettendorf market showed an increase of 18 units (4.7%) from the 2006 total of 384 closed sales transactions.
On a somewhat less happy note for home sellers, the average sales price of existing home sales that closed during the same period showed a slight decrease of 2.5%: down from $205,948 in 2006, to $200,859 in 2007.
The average number of days on the market (from home listing date to sale pending date) decreased slightly as well, down from 54 Days in 2006, to 51 Days in 2007, a decrease of 5.9%.
The list price to sales price ratio, (reflecting the percentage of the last recorded listing price of a property versus what the property eventually sold for) remained practically the same, as well, at 96.88% in 2006 and 96.68% in 2007.
The Quad-City Area market is made up of the cities of Davenport, Bettendorf, LeClaire, Eldridge and Blue Grass, in Iowa. And Moline, Rock Island, East Moline, Silvis, and Milan, in Illinois.
