National Moment of Remembrance
I had to re-blog this one... I'll be doing this thanks to Kerry bringing it to my attention...
The National Moment of Remembrance encourages everyone to pause wherever they are at 3pm local time on Memorial day for one minute. One minute of silence to remember and honor those who have died for our freedom.
Last night was my nephew's high school band concert. They performed a few numbers and one of them was a patriotic piece. It included a slide-show of all the different military branches and if you were a veteran or currently serving you were urged to stand when your branch showed up on the slide-show. Slowly but surely people began to stand and the audience cheered.
I get chills just thinking of the men and women who put their lives on the line for our safety. Complete respect, admiration and tears comes pouring out when I just daydream of what they must go through.

To everyone on AR who has served, currently serving or has family members serving...Thank You. Thank you for making this girl feel safe.
