Can You Just Tell Me What My Brampton Home Is Worth Over The Phone?

lady on phoneWe get asked this question quite a bit and our honest answer has to be "no". 
Over the phone we can tell you what similar homes have sold for, we can tell you what upgrades and features they had and what they were lacking. We can also tell you what similar homes are listed at and what features and upgrades they have as well as what features they are lacking. That's truly, all we can tell you.

Even though you tell us what features your Brampton, Ontario house has, what upgrades you have done and tell us about your location. We can't evaluate without physically seeing the property. We know that telling you, we can't do it over the phone with our experience sounds strange to you, but there is more to a market evaluation than adding for features and deducting for lack of features or location issues.

After many years of selling properties in the Brampton, Ontario area we know the best evaluation comes from walking through the property, seeing the condition and improvements first hand, making our comparisons and getting a proper 'feel' of the home.

Hi Al & Peggy...So they call you in Brampton! Here I get email requests and they get mad if I call them to Discuss their home, or to try to set an appointment to see their home.

I get the same question when someone asks for a "ballpark" estimate, it always seems to come back to bite me in the end.

I give those callers a range where their house may sell. I agree though...without seeing the property first hand, there is no way I can provide an accurate assessment.

Al & Peggy, well you could, but it sure wouldn't be totally accurate.     Preparing home values is a lot more than what is on paper!

I agree with you totally, Al and Peggy.  I must see a property and interview the owners before I wiill give my opinion of what a home might be worth in the present market
