Howard County Families - time to get fit at Centennial Park!
Howard County is the place to be for family fun and fitness on Saturday, June 3rd. An annual event - the Healthy Family Day will take place from 10am to 3pm at Centennial Park on 108.
The park will be home to countless health organizations, non profits and vendors with fitness and health tips to share. A great place for kids and adults of every generation. Of course Centennial itself it a beautiful lake with a large shaded playground, walking paths and boat rentals.
The event includes an active kids zone with activities from Pump it Up, Howard County Parks and Rec and many more.
A Health and Wellness Screening area is sponsored by Howard County General Hospital and has health information and vital screenings for men, women, teens and kids.
There will be healthy food tastings from Pizzaria Uno's, Rita's Italian Ice, Noodles and Company and other restaurants wanting to promote healthy eating on the go!
Get there early to avoid the crowds and start the summer off on a healthy note!
