Perfect Hiking Day in Phoenix - Memorial Day Weekend Fun
Memorial Weekend Weather in Phoenix is normally warmer than we're going to have this holiday weekend! Yeah! We woke up early and it was actually in the low 60's which is fabulous hiking weather. Let's get out the door and up the hill was the first thing we said to each other! After a cup of coffee we put on our hiking boots, packed some water and fruit and headed for the North Phoenix Mountain Preserve which is in our backyard. It always feels like we live in Paradise on such a gorgeous morning.
We're in the middle of Phoenix but yet we're in the middle of peace and quiet and gorgeous desert mountain beauty and views. This Memorial Weekend holiday weekend has started out perfect! We've got friends coming into town and we're hosting a big BBQ tomorrow and I for one am not working (much) this Memorial Day weekend in somewhat chilly Phoenix!
