What a surprise we had today, there at our basement door we had a visitor. Now, this is a door probably hasn’t even been opened in 20 years. But, as we headed out to the backyard, we spotted this little one out of the corner of our eye. We sat there and talked to our friend and took pictures for more than 30 minutes until our new friend fell asleep. That was when we decided to leave her alone. I guess it got out that I’m in to saving these little ones and wouldn’t mind them coming over to stay.
How adorable. I hope mom is close by to make sure this little one is safe.
Awwww....
What a darling. I wonder why Mom didn't come to chase you away when you got so close. Maybe she knew you weren't a danger.
How precious is that? Hopefully you can offer her some bottle milk and keep her coming back for seasons to come.
What a cool life moment! You guys were very fortunate to have this experience.
Hi Todd...Nice Surprise, Photo oops don't get any better than this. I bet her Mum said Sleep here, they have a great Garden to Munch on in the morning.
Cheers
Todd,
That is a great shot and a nice surprise - worth opening the door. :)

Wow, that is so cool. It looks so young. I hope mom didn't wander too far off.
Todd, very cute. Like others, I hope the Mother is OK and that the little one will be taken care of.
Oh my goodness...I haven't seen something sooo precious in...well I don't know, maybe never...sooo cute!!!
OK, have some good news... Mom came around about an hour later for baby. We hope to keep seeing them for awhile.
Todd - What an absolutely adorable photo! How lucky you were to get to watch it!
todd- we have deer in our yard ALL the time and have had the pleasure of watching a few babies grow up into grown adults over the past few years. it's the same ones, we know it, because they hang out in a pack of seven and are always around. when we pull up in our driveway they just stare at us. no running away. pretty cool since they aren't a threat to us and our vehicles!
